Fatima Akbar Rizvi (FAR), owner of BEAUTbyFAR LLC., is a Certified Professional Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist. She was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada and then relocated to New Jersey in 2014, where she currently resides. Fatima has a profound knowledge of diverse cultures and traditions which has been an asset in her bridal beauty business. Fatima received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The University of British Columbia, Canada, and continued her education and work experience to become a health care provider. Despite her pursuit in the medical field, Fatima realized her true path lies in the hands of a "nonconventional one"- The Beauty Industry. Makeup and Hair has been an integral part of her life since the age of 13. Growing up in a household of females, her interest became a hobby, which turned into a talent, that has now manifested into a career. She had her first bride at the age of 22! Soon thereafter, she received her Makeup Certification from the "School of Makeup Effects". Fatima's dream has been to own a full service beauty business, which is now a reality called BEAUTbyFAR LLC. BEAUTbyFAR's owner Fatima A Rizvi (FAR) wants all her clients that sit in her chair to feel the most beautiful "BY FAR". We specialize in Bridal Makeup, with a niche focused in Fusion Weddings. We have served many fusion couples and are proud of the diversity of our clientele with cultural backgrounds including Indian, Pakistani, American, Polish, Russian, Vietnamese, Latino, Italian, Somalian, African, Romanian, Filipino, Middle Eastern & many more. We strive to work with every skin tone, complexion, texture and pigment. Fatima's own signature style is Soft Glam with a pop on the eyes. Fatima also expands her work to photoshoots, editorials, television, film and some non-bridal inquires. Her vision is to provide all clients with beauty that is true to oneself and not a new set of skin, and to bring out the best of each individual's features through her art. BEAUTbyFAR provides on-site makeup and hair services to NJ, NY, PA and is open to domestic and international travel. She also brings on more artists for bigger bookings.
